Garbage Pickup Rules: Everything must be in your cans --anything placed next to your cans will not be picked up. Please be sure everything is in your cans for pickup until further notice.
Please remember that your Pets my possibly spread the Coronavirus to others. Keep your pets on a leash as per the law in the Village and keep your pet 6 feet from both humans and other pets.

For those with concerns about Septic Systems with homes that directly front the lake. The Berrien County Health department is actively monitoring our Village. At this time (02.10.2020) all homes along the lakefront shoreline are in compliance with the Health department. Mr. Nick Margaritis is our Environmental Health Manager with The Berrien County Health Department. His direct number is 269-927-5653. All Watercraft placed in a Village of Michiana rack or left overnight on the beach requires a Village of Michiana Watercraft sticker. Stickers are available at the Village Hall. Watercraft permit fee: Residents $10.00 Non-Residents $20.00 only after July 5 and space permitting.
No beach chairs are allowed to be left on the beach overnight, or chained to Village property. They will be removed.
