Your Village Council has decided to remain Neutral on a position until more "Modeling" is presented on the project. There are too many still open questions on the various options to form a final position. We will continue to monitor the work of the Alliance and its potential impact on our shoreline. Thank you for taking the time to weight in on this matter.
The New Buffalo Shoreline Alliance wants to announce the posting to YouTube of our fourth informational community meeting held at the New Buffalo High School August 31, 2019. We apologize for the delay. In our effort to be prudent with the funds you donate to us, we employ nonprofessionals to video our meetings. Sometime this creates issues. This year there were issues with the software used to record the meeting and uploading problems. The start of the meeting has been lost and we have been trying to recover it and the first five slides but have been unsuccessful. The good news is the first five slides talked about organizational issues, so the factual material of the presentation was preserved. Additionally, the Q&A from the audience was captured and that section runs longer that our actual presentation. We think that demonstrates widespread interest in our solution.
